Dear Patrons, Artists, and Renters
May I first start out by saying how I miss talking with you, collaborating with you, and bringing the arts to life for and with you! With that being said, the Batavia Fine Arts Centre has information to share regarding the remainder of the 2019-20 year and the 2020-21 year. Please know all of our planning first takes one thing into account – and only one thing! The safety of our patrons, artists, and renters.
Below you will find a breakdown of types of events and the updates we currently have. We can not wait to entertain you and bring the arts to life with and for you!
Rentals
All rentals through July 12, 2020, have been postponed or canceled with a rolling window into the future. State clearance for public assembly will need to be granted 21 days prior to any rental event date in order for the rental to continue as planned. We will continue to operate on this rolling window for the foreseeable future. You may view the most up to date event status list here. Should you need further information we recommend you contact the presenting company.
2019-20 Touring Season
Carole’s Kings and Forever Young will both be postponed! We are overjoyed that we are able to postpone and NOT cancel these events! All of the artists involved in these productions are able to make future accommodations to perform for you all!
Carole’s Kings New date – April 22, 2021
Forever Young – New date – March 25, 2021
Should you have tickets to either one of these performances, there is no action needed by you. All tickets are rolled to the new performance and will be valid when you arrive on the new date. The following ticketing policy discusses that information, so you are covered! You don’t need to do anything but arrive and enjoy!
- Performances subject to change. If a show is replaced with another performance a patron’s ticket will be honored for the like replacement performance. If a show has a date change the patron’s ticket will be honored on the new date.
2020-21 Touring Season
The touring season we were expecting to announce on March 15, 2020, has undergone changes, and we are excited that we will be making a season announcement VERY soon! The upcoming season will be filled with laughs because that’s what we all need! The largest change to the season is regarding the number of shows and start date of the season. Instead of 6-7 shows starting in September of 2020, we will have an abbreviated season of 4 shows starting in February of 2021. This season will be announced VERY shortly!
A note regarding the 2021 season: All performance dates are subject to change. Should a performance incur a date change the patron’s ticket will be honored on the new performance date. We are also very pleased to offer a temporary addition to our ticketing policy! For more information please see below!
PEACE OF MIND TICKET POLICY
During these times we have made adjustments to our normal ticketing policy. Any tickets purchased between now and October 1, 2020, automatically carry the added PEACE OF MIND ticket policy!
Patrons with season tickets of any level may receive a FULL refund at any time up to one week prior to the performance date for any reason.
OR
A credit in the form of a gift certificate up to 24 hours prior to a performance for any reason.
Patrons with individual tickets may receive a credit in the form of a gift certificate at any time up to one week prior to a performance.
This temporarily replaces the “No Refunds” policy for tickets purchased prior to October 1, 2020. What does this mean? It means the money you spend on a ticket purchase is protected! NO dollar of yours will ever go to waste! Season ticket holders may request a refund for a show or the entire season should they not feel comfortable attending or due to a performance date that has changed, or any other reason you mind can conjure. Individual ticket buyers may receive a gift certificate for 100% of the ticket purchase price.
