Fox Valley Orchestra Presents: Cool Trumpet Hot

The FVO hits the summer pops ground running with our first spectacular guest artist – trumpeter Rob Parton.  Well known to Chicago-area audiences and jazz fans, Rob could be heard performing and on numerous recordings with his own big band, Rob Parton’s JAZZTECH Big Band, as well as guest lead trumpeter with the Chicago Symphony in jazz-oriented concerts.  Currently Chair of the Jazz Studies department at the University of North Texas, he is equally at home performing with jazz stars and teaching tomorrow’s jazz stars.  Come hear some sensational jazz – with orchestra!
